Local Sources

One of the primary responsibilities of the local chapter is maintaining a list of local suppliers of pasture-based food products (including raw milk products/cowshares), sustainable farming operations and holistic health practitioners. We are currently developing a list to be posted on this page. Please check back with us regularly for updates! See also the "Links" page for websites that provide regional listings.

NOTE: We are attempting to develop a list that is truly "local," meaning that you can drive to the location, visit the producer, tour the operation and return to the Bloomington area in no more than 2-3 hours. However, we've also added a list of providers below who are regular vendors at the Bloomington Farmer's Market or other local venues. In all cases, we encourage consumers to get to know those who are providing their food, to inspect the farms and facilities where these foods are produced or processed and to find out the inputs and methods being used to produce it.
