HB1300 Withrdrawn, 30 January 2008

Representative Bill Friend of Macy withdrew his HB1300 from the House floor that would have made it illegal for dairies to label their milk as "artificial growth hormone-free," saying he, "didn't want to cry over spilled milk." The bill was withdrawn due to overwhelming consumer opposition. Every single member of both the Indiana House and the Senate heard from their constituents opposing this anti-truth labeling bill.
